J.K.Rowling is going to kill Harry in her next sequel. She says that it is b'coz nobody should continue Harry's character. Is this acceptable?

I think he's confused as she has never actually said that! Plus I reckon she likes all the false rumours out there as it just increases the anticipation of the new book!

No, this is definitely NOT acceptable. These books are being read by children who love Harry Potter. They would be very upset if he were to die. Besides, the only way for Harry to die would be for evil to triumph, and that wouldn't be a very good message to give to children. I for one will be very disappointed if she uses that copout ending for this wonderful series.

Plus the reason she said she had thought about it was because if he doesn't die then people are going to want to know what happens in the rest of his life, so she kinda just wants to end it with this last book

Killing Harry would not work entirely well, it might even be distressing. We must remember that although it is read by many age groups it is first anf foremost a children's novel.
