Hi everyone!I am taking calculus over the summer session. The instructor goes fast, and I find I need a lot of practice to master the material. Besides practice, does anyone have any other study tips they have used to get through this daunting course? Thanks for your help!

Make sure you understand the reasoning behind everything. Don't just focus on memorizing formulas, focus on getting why the formulas are what they are. Derive formulas if that helps you. Rote memorization will only leave you more confused in the end, as all topics build on the ones before them. Also, make sure you really, really focus when the teacher talks about either derivatives or integrals. Those are the basis of pretty much everything else in the course, so if you don't get those, it'll be much harder to get other topics. All that being said, good luck!

Perseverance. Focus on the word. PERSEVERANCE. Well, good luck with your class. I hated calculus back then. Now I'm miserable when it comes to math.
