I like to share information that I learn of on the internet. I believe that my sources are reliable and accurate. But ever so often I come across something so shocking or gross, that I choose not to share it for fear of only God knows how many things. I found this article to be both shocking and gross. But because this is something that we as women so often use and the results could be so bad, I felt it was my responsibility to share it anyway. In spite of the fact that now I want to change my whole position on ever going to another salon. Read this article and let me know what you think of it.

Umm I am totally in shock over the full article. I go to salons to get my nails done from time to time, even my hair (at least twice a year). I haven't had any issues so far but still, one can never be too careful. Thanks for sharing that article, got me rethinking.

I have been to the same salon for manicures and pedicures and haven't had any problems with them so far. Let's hope it stays that way.

I know what you mean, it really made me rethink some things. We do not know how well they sterilize their equipment after using it on a previous client. In fact, I do not recall seeing the places that I have gone to, do much cleaning. But then again, they would refuse to do their hair at all if there was a visible problem.

oh gosh that is horrible, I rarely go to the salon anyway, don't do my nails, and my son shaves his own head bald
