I have read some things on the net and I like to share what I know with you all for more advantage for all of us. Did you know? that: -The muscles in your heart have the strength to shoot your blood 10 meters in the air? -Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump. -All polar bears are left handed -Crocodiles cannot stick out their tongue -Butterflies taste with their feet -A cockroach can live 9 days without it’s head. It only dies because it cannot eat. -A duck’s quack has no echoe, and nobody knows why -Multiplying 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321 I hope these information can be useful for you.

While some of this might be untrue, I just multiplied the seemingly simple problem at the end, and sure enough, that's exactly correct! I also would definitely be inclined to believe the statement about the human heart. The body is an amazing thing! I also believe the statements about the butterfly and the cockroach to be true, and perhaps the crocodile, simply because when I think about it, I've never seen a photograph or video footage of a crocodile or an alligator sticking out their tongues! As for the elephant being the only animal on the face of the planet with the inability to jump; well, what about some marine animals? I mean, sure there are species of aquatic life that certainly do jump out of the water and back in, but what about the rest? It's hard to tell when you live on land, don't you think? Now, regarding a duck's quack being echoless, I do vaguely recall seeing this on an episode of Myth Busters on The Discovery Channel, but I can't remember what the outcome was! Oh well. I know a good site to debunk myths and rumors is Snopes.com. When something sounds like it may not be true, or if it sounds like it may be too good to be true, I always look it up on that site through a keyword search. It even gives the backstory on how different rumors and things like this are started!

Oh, you're very welcome. I just read your response about the duck's quack. I agree, we're here to learn from each other, and I did not enjoy the tone of the previous response stating that you should look things up for validity before posting them. Sometimes, things are just meant to be fun and entertain, such as the list of supposed facts that you posted here. This is why I wrote my response with such detail. I wanted you to know that not everyone is as unappreciative of your post as that person was. I'm glad I made you happy. You have a good day as well!

Hi Alkurishy, very interesting information! Thanks for sharing with us! Now I know why there are still so many cockroaches around - they still can live for 9 days without their heads!!! I hate cockroaches!

i used to believe that a duck's quack cannot echo. i checked it out on the internet and it is a rumor. a duck's quack does echo. i've checked out other interesting facts that were emailed me and they also were false. anymore you have to check things out before you repeat them. someone is spreading untrue statements. they have nothing better to do than lie to well meaning people.

Yes my dear I have checked that too on Wikipedia site and they say that the ducks quack does have echo but it is hard to hear. And I check all the information that I put here because I care to not put false information, and every discussion I start take a lot of my time to check the information I put here. Here what they say in Wikipedia site: ("A duck's quack doesn't echo" is a much-quoted scientific myth. The truth is that a duck's quack does, in fact, echo; however, it may be difficult to hear. This myth was first debunked by the Acoustics Research Centre at the University of Salford in 2003 as part of the British Association's Festival of Science. It also featured in one of the earlier episodes of the popular Discovery Channel television show MythBusters. The actual reason for the myth is that the wave of a duck's quack is almost identical to an echo. It echoes, but it is not very obvious.) I hope that can help in correct the information, but at all the duck's quack is difficult to hear it's echo. Thanks for your response and have a nice day.

Those are some very interesting facts my friend and I believe they will definitely come in handy for example if an elephant is chasing me I can jump up somewhere high because the elephant can not jump up after me,and no I am not being sarcastic and I appreciate you taking them time to share these facts with us,and I look forward to anymore discussions that you post in the future.
