bad effect of mylot- mylot distracts my studies

there are times that im so into mylot and i forget my studies, just my last tests i didnt mylot, and i had the highest scores for 3 subjects, so now im convinced, mylot distracts my studies, do have any experience like mine? like the bad effects of mylot to you?

My dear, who asked you or suggested you to come to mylot, when you are required to take tests and carry out your studies. Studies are important than mylot and they are always given priorities over mylot. Mylot can be attended to when you have some spare time for it. My advice is - please do not ignore your studies, in any case, for the sake of mylotting. It is your studies, which will help you in the long run, not Mylot. Best wishes for your studies.

Hi there soheavenlyme!
You should know what your priorities are. myLot should not be a reason for you to forget about your studies. It should not be a reason for you to disregard the more important things. It doesn't have to be difficult. You just have to know how to manage your time well. You should only use your spare time for your myLot activities. When you need to study or do your homework, then that is what you should do. Good luck to you!

I guess it's just up to us to know what are our priorities in life. I remember last time I was also so hooked onto mylot that if I'm not mistaken, I spent like at least 3 hours or so on mylot each day. But then there was this time when I came to a realization that what is the use of getting all the money in the world from mylot (or the internet in general) but fail in my exams or tests and disappoint my parents? After that, I only spend time on mylot when I am looking for leisure or if I have lots of spare time. That's why I have not been very active on mylot for quite a long time already. So yeah, if you managed to identify the specific things that are interfering with your priorities in life, you should take steps to minimize or even totally stop that interference....it's all in the mind....

just realized that too now, i hav been inactive for days now and my grades are good, i dont hav much friends here so im not into this all day. you have to learn from experience too, i just did.

I suggest you should stop blaming MyLot and start blaming yourself. Did MyLot opened itself up and forcibly dragged you in front of the computer saying "You should spend more time on me instead of studying!"? I don't think so, its your choice, which is more important to you?, what is your schedule studying? schedule MyLotting? Manage your time my friend, know your priorities.
