Create a seperate user account with only user privileges.so they cannot install any thing.Protect your account with a difficult password

Hi, Is you Windows OS genuine? If so, then download SteadyState created by microsoft. Or try reading about SteadyState in their website. I'm sure this is what you wanted. Hope this helps.

The Best security to your PC is to put password to your account... You should have passwords to all administrator accounts on your PC... And when you are going to leave your Pc... remember to log off.. Thats it...

If you're using Windows XP, you can set up seperate user accounts with passwords, you being the 'administrator' Only the administrator would be able to install or configure software.

You can set a guest account on your computer, someone login your computer by the guest account, you set right to it and don't give it right of installing,in this way people can use your computer as well as you don't afraid of installing.

I guess you can put a login password for your computer so that nobody can switch on the PC let alone installing anything. If other are gonna use it you can let them logging in as a guest without enough privileges to install any software or make any changes. You'll be the administrator and have your own password for normal computer stuff.
