Just my luck - missed it by 4 confounded, cotton-picking cents!

Okay, life sucks big time! But then again, just my luck! I have Adsense on my blogs which pays when you reach $100. I've been working on it since Feburary and Here it is, 8PM, July 31 and I have $99.06 in my account. I am short 4 confounded, cotton-picking cents for pay out this month! I have to wait till next month to get cash out! I read a book to my little 2 you grand daughter about "Little Critter" by Mercer Meyer - she loves the stories and we sit and literally I read these books to her over and over and over - at her request. Yesterday I was reading one and was tired so I didn't read a few of the pages right and then turned them and she stops me and recites what was on the page that I should have read and will say "where's that?" and start turning the page back to the page I should have read correctly. On is called I Was So Mad.... okay, Little Critter - I am so mad!!!!!!!

Well that's a shame. I'm not worried about reaching payout until November. I'm saving for Christmas.
My granddaughter has to read the book to you after you read it to her. It's so cute what she comes up with when it's a new book and she can't remember what happened. She also used to end it with "Amen" instead of "The end".

Oh my gosh, isn't that the best! I love it when my GD is so anxious to learn and demonstrates that she has learned. They are just the best around 2 years old!

Oh yeah, that would suck....I'd be mad too. I've been working hard getting payout here this month, and thats probably what will happen, I'll miss it by a few cents. Oh well, I'll definately have it next month. Have a good day

I hope you get it this month! IF it'd been a dollar or so it wouldn't have bothered me! But yeah, at least we get it next month!

Sounds just like my luck! Lol. If you need anymore sites to add to yr reportoire let me know. I found a fun one. I like Little Critter books, I have also done the tired reading thing and didnt read it right lol.

Hey, PM me with your suggestions. I am open to any! And had it not mad me so mad to the point that I actually said "I'm so mad!" and that book came instantly to mind and my little GD followed and my babies are the light of my life, so I calmed myself with a laugh that "well at least I don't look like LIttle Critter!"

Oh, it says and I know that you have to reach $100. Its just that I missed it by 4 cents! 4 dollars wouldn't have phased me! But it took me to thoughts about the LIttle Criter books which lead me to my grand daughter and all is well when I think of her!

Hey coffee break don't worry about it it is like money in the bank. you will get it it will just take more time. I do know that you have to wait, inorder to make $100.00. be patient it will come. I better start writing blogs. I read the one about Watermelon, and it was very interesting. Have a great week-end! I just poppped in for a little while.

Thanks marciascott! My problem is I have just run out of things I think anyone wants to read about! Then there is always the traffic generation issue - no traffic, no earnings! But I keep at it! Thanks for the encouragement!

That definitely sucks. They kicked me off here when I was within a quarter of cashing out, but I'm getting close again with my new registration.
ALL of my kids knew when I "missed" pages in a book and would recite the missing pages verbatim! My youngest son adored one book that I absolutely despised...so that was the one he always asked for. I used to hide it under the couch so he wouldn't find it, but he did.
