I sat watching this documentary tonight about natural resources. By sheer luck I watched a movie about this whole beginning on DVD last night. That has me thinking. Why can't we use oil elsewhere? I know there is oil in Mexico. Why has the government there not done something about that? I know there is oil offshore in the USA; why are we not utilizing that? What do you think?

The same question could be asked to as to the alternative sources of energy. We have brilliant inventors but were not getting the support that they should have to let their inventions prosper. I guess it boils down to economy and controlling that economy as a whole. Its the powers that be who get to plan and see the effects it could have on the world economy as a whole. Or maybe, something is getting in the way for them to get to those oil such as environmental issues.

You know; I hate to say it, but I think that it is about control. The ones that stand to gain from it; en-sure the people in power are puppets. They make sure the money remains heading to them for life.
