Does artificial body supplements which are also called proteins (powder)are good for health or it is having side effects on our body structure. i have joined the gym and want to gain muscles or weight.some peoples told me to take proteins . what do you all say whether protein powder is good for health or not?????

That will depend on your lifestyle. Since you are trying to build muscle it should be good to consume them but don't take in too much because you could damage your liver and kidney by overworking them. It is adviced that you should take in more water because the large amount of protein you consume meant more urea is produced and more of it has to be removed by the kidney as urine so more water will help.

thank you JERRYMOUSE how long we can take these proteins? (i mean for how many years or months) and if we stop taking these does it effects on our muscles? i e shape and strength etc

I am not sure how long you can take them. It is best to consult a doctor about it. I think it should be safe as long as your muscles are rapidly growing which is when you are still working out.
