Apart Sharon, who was tough and very radical, i keep wondering, How will a new Israel PM handles the teething problems of Israel and Platestine? The situations keep getting worse with Iran and Hezabulah factors? Can the problem of Israel be solved by leadership skills?

Hello! I think that we have in Israel a big problem with the leaderships. Unfortunatelly, our leaders don't seem to care about the people in Israel and everything they do is for themselves and not for the country's sake. Many of the leaders in Israel are corrupt, they use their job to their own benefits. Olamert is now investigated about his buisnesses and I think he won't hold as a primeminister. In the past we had a great leadership in Israel which have done so much to the sake of Israel and brought us strentgh among our enemies in the Arab countries. Menahem Begin, David Ben Gurion, these people thought about the people and not about themselves. Maybe the world is change but I think that Israel must have a strong leader who thinks about the country and about the people. Unfortunatelly, I don't think that we have this kind of man in our present leadership. Have a wonderful day!

I dont think so, that any leader is there to resolve the dispute. If they are so, they could have easily utlised the cease fires that often surfaces once in a while.. Clearly the demands of them are not going to be met..as they stand at either extremes.. But only time will have a Final Say on this.

I wish that the Pope a person or other important political person respected by many would intervene to act as mediator between the two sides. This war should stop once and for all. Many people have lost their lives unnecessary. If both sides are willing yes an agreement can be reached by diplomacy and leadership skills.

I think it would be very hard for an Israeli leader to solve the problem, any peaceful moves would be interpreted as weakness by the Arabs, who will then step up their aggression or invade. The real answer is for the free countries of the world to rally to Israel. all the best urban
