What's the 'go 50-50' mean?

Hi guys, I have a confuse about below diag, could you help explain the 'go 50-50' mean? Thanks in advance. ----I propose that you pay for this insurance. ----I'd be willing to go 50-50 on it, but no more.

It means the two people having the dialog share the bill equally...50-50 or 50% each.

In china we call it AA,that means we share the pill equlity.
