celebrex and kidney damage, anyone?

I took celebrex for a year and now my doctor says it has damaged my kidneys. Have any of you had this happen? Has anybody sued the pharmaceutical company? My arthritis pain is so bad now and I can't take anything except tylenol for it. I am truly miserable and think celebrex should pay for my pain and suffering. Any body else persuing this path?
