cling to or set them free?

children - will u with ur children?

when u get older,will u cling to ur children or just set them free? personally,i and my lover will live our own life and visit my children once a month or once every other month or maybe less,cause we maybe in different cities,we are seperated by distance and time.

If they are able to stand on their own, I will set them free, Till then we have to guide them.

yeah,that makes sense. set them free but still somewhat in our surveilance.

I don't have children, but my husband does. He always believed in letting them grow up, and allowing them to become their own individual people, the people they were meant to be. My mother clung to me more than I would have liked, having problems with certain decisions that I made, so I always thought if I were to have kids, I'd want to let them go make their own decisions as adults. I was happy to hear my husband's philosophy on children becoming adults.
