What's the difference when you say, "I love you because I need you." and "I need you because I love you." ??

Both the statements show self selfishness reasons so i wont be able to go with either of them. But yes i need her why, i dont know. Even if there was no love then too i need her.

ahhh the famous line of Piolo Pascual(actor here in the Philippines) in the movie Milan. right? you will definitely need a person if you love them. the need here does not necessarily mean tangible things like money, gifts. etc. need of time together, need of support and many other emotional needs. i think that need is more important if you love someone. but loving someone because you need this person is more of physical need. well, it's a good thing you didn't ask I love you and I need you. lol. it's another story. have a good day:)

For me, "I love you because I need you" means you are into the benefits. What if need does not exist anymore? Will "I love you" still uttered?
