handsome poor man or ugly rich man?

I was watching a noontime show when I chanced to saw a beauty pageant portion and it was the kind of question asked by the host to the contestants. They gave relevant answers. But most were funny.
If you are one of the contestant what will be your answer to that?

I would say that looks do not matter, it is what is in his heart and since God has not made all handsome men, poor, and all ugly men, rich, then I would rather marry a handsome rich man because there are no ugly rich men since they will have the money for plastic surgery, or their fathers would have married beautiful women throughout the generations and would not chose ugly women.

Well with plastic surgery and considering this is a what if question, if I were younger, much younger, I would rather marry a handsome rich man than an ugly one, because well I would not want to get plastic surgery done on the kids as well. I mean I am attractive, but not beautiful so that would mean the kids would be plain. Let's say, even with money, I would want to be economical.

Hi iza,
If the ugly rich man has a heart and loves me, I will choose him! LOL!It's hard to have an ugly poor man when he has no heart also, life will be complicated!

common let's face it, only a few would choose a handsome poor man over an ugly rich man. to be honest, i would go for the latter. i need not have a handsome partner. i do not really care much with regard the face value, so long as he loves me, then it is all good. as mentioned in the previous answer, it bears no weight as to physical appearance of the person, if the love is truly there, being rich or being handsome is nothing but a bonus to the love that is actually there.

thre handsome poor man becomes ugly quickly when you can't pay the bills. My mother always said it is just as easy to marry a rich amn than a poor man.

I'd probably say, are these my only choices? Can't I choose a man who loves me and whom I love? Can't I choose someone who is kind and patient, not self-serving? Can't I choose someone who loves the Lord and who believes that marriage is a forever thing?
