Are you still a user with pen with ink in your home, office or school. When i was younger, I usually have pen with me which I used in writing my lessons and in writing letters to friends. Later, sign pen and all kinds of ball pens came into being, thus very few uses pen with ink. Lately I heard from some users and collectors of pens the pen with ink is the best to use much more on official documents and checks as it cannot be forged. When it was explained and sampled I realized it is true. Although sometime messy I am again planning to use my stored pen and put in ink and use it for my signature. How about you, do you still use pen with ink or the easy to use sign pen and ball pens.

I don't know if this is the same thing or not, but I have a fountain pen, that's what its called. It has a lever and can be filled by putting the pen into an ink pot. I also have a fountain pen that takes cartridges of ink to refill. Different than a ballpoint. I like to use these pens when I'm sending cards or notes.

Oh, and that's very interesting that it would be harder to forge using an ink pen.

Yes, I mean the fountain pen with the lever in it to suck ink from the bottle. Although there are some pens with ready cartridge but I supposed the ink used is the same as the one used in sign pens. Maybe once in a while fountain pens must be used. Thanks for the response.

Hello, bagum! The use of fountain pen is limited to a few people,I think.Almost 99% of the people are using this ball pen,and I am no exception to this.what I think I have given up its use about thirty years back and I don't think it will be convenient for me now to write with a fountain pen.thanx.

Maybe almost but not 99%. I can see doctors, managers, executives using pen with ink. I used to use also fountain pens but now sign pens and ball pens on my work. But on contracts and checks I will be using fountain pens. thanks for the response. Hello there.

Ball pens are the best to use and very practical. On pencils do you use the pencil itself or the mechanical pencil. Both are available and can be used in many projects. Thanks for the response

I used pens with ink in my school days only. I loved to use ball pens during my schooling. But we were not allowed to use them in the school. So no other go,we had to use ink pens only. But after I joined college, I started to use ball pens only. Last year I bought a Parker Ink pen as I wanted to have one. But I used it for a month only. I found that I was more comfortable with ball pens. I feel that with increased usage of computer, usage of pens has decreased to some extent at an age level of more than 35. Lately I found that your hand writing would be very good only when you write with ink pens..Have you experienced this?

Yes, you are right. Very few people now uses pen but really pen is nice to use and it really helps in our handwriting skills. And you are also right because of these new technologies lesser use of writing tools decreases. Thanks for the response.

When i was at school it was compulsory to write with an ink pen. The teachers always stressed on the handwriting skills. That was the rule till class 5. Beyond that you could use a ball pen. I think ink pens are a bit risky. Once i had my notes washed out in the rain. It could have been less if i had used a ball pen. It was a great information you shared about the signature forgery being easy will ballpens. Thank you for that. Have a good day.
