what do cute endearment do you call your love one?

hi there. in my country, it's very common for husbands and wives to call each other mom or dad or even ma or pa... which is weird since they are married and not the offspring... hehhee... if you ask me, i would rather call my love one, love, sweetheart or any mushy names...except ma or pa... what do you think?

i think they wanted their child to call them like that lol when my mom was young her mom didn't correct her because she was calling their father as "toto" not father or papa

It might have special meaning to them though it might sound a bit corny and mushy to others. I used to tease some of my friends a lot when they do that but well they're in love and that gives them a license to become as mushy as they want.

hi ,my family is quite orthodox and we usually call each other by names in public.at home i am always called mabs short form of mable,which is my name and i do call him darlin.

That's very interesting culture in your country. I have a nickname for my husband and I call him brother:) As to the nickname he calls me, I am sorry and I can't say it here. It's a big secret:) I love China

It depends on the mood. We usually call each other "Darling" or "Baby" or "My Love". Just depends on the mood .

Once in a while, we find ourselves calling each other Baby. We either use it with affection or with "don't be such a...". Most of the time, Boyfriend calls me Little (insert my name here) so I call him..... Little (insert boyfriend's name here). He doesn't really enjoy it that much, I wonder why.
