how much money can one get from recycling?

i remember way back april when we had our earth day, we went to a mall then we brought our recycled paper, cartridge, boxes etc.. & we almost earned 2,000 pesos or $45. in this we helped saved the earth, & we also earned hehehe..

Funny you should ask... today I recycled bottles and got a little over $4.00 USD. I knew I did not have that many bottles but hoped for at least $5.00. I think that you can make a fair amount of money if you try hard enough. A lot of homeless people recycle and earn enough to buy themselves a meal or two. I don't think you can get rich on it though but if you pick up bottles and cans off the street that others have thrown away, it is free money. It is really not a bad way to make a few extra dollars.

It depends on what stuff you are recycling... Some people come at my place asking for any old stuff to be recycled... Then we give all our old newspapers, clothes, bottles, some metallic stuff.. and so on... Then they would weigh all the things separately... like, paper separate, plastic separate, clothes separate, metal separate.. and would calculate the total amount for that stuff.... And we would accept whatever they gave.... I dont exactly remember ho much they gave last time...
