Why do most Powerball winners seem to come from out west?

Me and my coworkers and friends keep wondering why almost all the Powerball winners come from the central, midwest and western states. Does anyone know why? It is extremely rare that someone on the east coast wins the jackpot. Any comments on that? :-)

The people that do not need all that money, seem to win more often than the people who do need it.

I know that I would love it very much too so I could pay off debts quicker, get a newer car and a bigger home and help my family out.

I would imagine it just means that the westerners play it more, so they have more of a chance to win it than the easterners. But that is just my theory on it.

You might be right on your theory or they have more machines out there. I guess it is time to move out west. LOL Just kidding. What would be funny is if I went out west and played, then someone on the east coast ends up winning. :-)

It seems like somebody or something doesn't like the people on the eastern part of the US. LOL Guess I will have to go out west and play. LOL
