Do you choose light products, or do you stick to the classsics? I mean like in coke for example, or ice tea, but it could be anything where there's a light kind of it. Personally i choose light if i can't taste the difference, but for coke i really can, and i dont like the light variant so i take classic. How about you, do you buy classic or light?

I would always hoose the light version of the drink, and im not too sure why!because I would think nothing of having a bar of chocolate with it,so it defeats the object really, but I like Pepsi max and Cola light, and I always choose the version without the sugar.I believe that one can of normal pop can contain up to seven teaspoon fulls of sugar

I tend to choose original versions of most products and am careful to stick to the recommended amount that is clearly indicated on the Nutritional Information section of the product. Afterall, the "Lite" versions took something out, and put in something else. That something else they put in, tends to be more chemicals. With my boyfriend being a Type 1 Diabetic, I have been experimenting with a variety of natural alternative "sugars". Though I found Splenda to be palatable, I nearly spat out the Coke sweetened with Splenda. Yikes! Like you, GameBreaker, I really can taste the difference in Coke.

I won't touch "lite" foods or "sugar free" foods. Lite foods have something taken out to make them less fat or fewer calories but something chemical added to retain the flavor. Sugar Free means it has an artificial sweetener which can be more harmful to your body than sugar. I prefer to eat sensibly. A good balanced diet of food as natural as I can get it and all things in moderation. Don't mess with my food! I don't want to eat chemicals. I can't help breathing toxins in the air or drinking toxins in the water. Don't add that junk to my food.
