i was deciding what to cook for dinner last night i had these mini drum sticks in my freezer and other meat but i wanted to make some thing different..
so i put all the little drumsticks in a baking dish with a heap of potaoes cut small, i added all mixed spices and put a touch of olive oil and let them cook together and i cooked just some plain rice and my family just loved it.. it was great, the reason im sharing thois is because with chicken you can make what ever you like and you will always grt a good responce from the family..
thats what i want to know do you just make something you have never made and the family just love it..

That sounds good! You made me hungry! Pretty creative! I can not cook with a you know what! My family eats burnt food without complain most nights! lol

Hi Shelly,
It's so nice when you try cooking something different and it comes out yummy!! It's only my husband and I and he can be very picky. One of the last things I did was make my own version of Pizza. I took french loaves fo bread, and my favorite sauce, pizza sauce or marinara sauce, sliced onions, black olives, hot Italian sausage crumbled and cooked, and of course mozzerella cheese. Baked it in the oven at 375 until it was browned to my liking and it was great!! It's so easy and quick. Of course you can put whatever you like on it. hugssss

That sounds delicious!!! I am not sure I'd eat potatoes and rice in one meal, but it still sounds like it would be good. I love chicken because it can be served aout a million difeen ways. Thanks for sharing his wonderul idea with all of us hee on MyLot.

Hey shell, So glad you're back. Sounds yummy! I'm afraid to
make new things that I've never tried because my boyfriend
is so picky. But when I do he ends up liking whatever I make.
I love to experiment with new dishes. It's so exciting. I'm
a pretty good cook. My mom and grandmother and
great grandmother were great cooks too. I make up stuff
as I go. Usually I try them out on my friends. They always
love my cooking and can't wait to come back for more!

That sounds great! I usually don't try new things as my husband is quite the picky eater. However, that sounds good and I might have to try it sometime when he is gone. My kids won't eat the rice so I would have to cook it just for me. Thanks for sharing the idea with us.

Nice dinner
It does always seem with chicken it always is a hit with everyone . I like dark meat , so I like the thighs, and drum sticks . I once did not have anything to eat , because we were not shopping till pay day , and made butter noodles with garlic , and bred crumbs . Also, added in chicken from the next night . Big hit
