do you always have a dream in your sleep? and whenever you do, is it always as vivid as if watching a movie? and do you remember every detail upon waking up? how about the interpretation of your dreams, do you believe in those?

I dream regularly about stupid mundane things. If i take medication, especially antidepressants, I dream very weird vivid dreams like having a party with dozens of people dressed in bathrobes eating cheese wedges.

usually, i do not dream. and if ever i did, i forget the same upon waking up. this has been one of my frustrations. at the back of mind, i know the dream is nothing but beautiful. unfortunately, i cannot remember it when i wake up. the characters, the setting, and even the ending--i can't remember these things. the only thing i recall is that i indeed had a dream---though i do not know what that dream was.

hi aprilten, i think its not in our hand that to decided - to dream or not to dream. because our subconcious mind works while we sleep. Normally we forget dream and its hard to remember what was in our dream. I think dreams have some meaning. I will share my experience. When i was in school i saw a dream that i had failed in all subject.. the truth was , next day i had maths paper and i was afraid of that... thats it . the dream is what we think deep inside out heaart.

I've had several lucid dreams and yes, I can remember the details in some of it. I kept a dream journal before and it was very interesting. When I was so much younger and there wasn't any internet yet, I bought for myself a dream dictionary where I would check the interpretations. Most of the time, it's true.
