I've always wanted to travel to the U.K., but my question is. . .

What is there to do once I go there? (which will be in probably fifty years. Haha) I mean, the place is so rich in history, that is why it intrigues me. What do you recommend I see if you live there?

Same here, Grandpa Bob. I think it would be cool to sleep for a night in one. Spooky.

I used to live near Canterbury in the Garden of England an area known for its apple orchards and old cottages. I went to the Cathedral and walked along the pretty path by the river. I liked to go for walks along the stunning looking White Cliffs of Dover. Now I live close to Bath in Somerset known for its spa waters. The countryside is scenic with its green fields and villages are full of delightful old cottages. I liked to go to Chester a lot when I was a student and walk its Roman Walls. Last year I had a long weekend in Northumberland and saw Bamburgh Castle, the most romantic looking castle overlooking a sandy beach.

It sounds gorgeous! The country side is what I like most about England. :) Thank you so much for all those locations!

I have never been to the UK but I think it would fantastic to go there! It is filled with such history, since I met a young lady from England, the accent is just hot! If there any young ladies from the UK that want to add me as a friend, please do it now! :-) I would want to see London Tower, The Palace, chnaging of the guard and all that tourist stuff. But then I would just want to go to a small English Pub somewhere and just listen to the stories of the men and the women who wouldn't mind talking to me. The most interesting thing about places in not the buildings but the people!

I love it when tourists from the U.K. come here to Florida. It's lovely and they are such cheerful people. I love it. I hope you'll be able to go to the U.K. some day too! :)
