A familiar face is reportedly being courted to replace William Petersen on CSI.The search for a new lead has been shrouded in secrecy, but sources say Laurence Fishburne is being heavily courted to play the new character, described as a doctor/scientist outsider to the CSI unit who has the same genetic profile as a serial killer but hasn't previously acted on any homicidal impulses. What do you think? I think it might be interesting.

Jeff Goldblum/Actor - This is a photo of Jeff Goldblum.
I haven't really heard anything about this but I have heard that On June 26, 2008, it was announced that Jeff Goldblum will replace Chris Noth as a Senior Detective on Law & Order: Criminal Intent I know it probably something you already know..

William Petersen has been wanting to leave CSI for a couple of years. I think he is what really makes the show and it would not be the same without him. I really can not see how Laurence Fishburne would fill the spot left by Petersen.

I quit watching CSI a few years ago. Grissom was actually a character that had started to annoy me. And Sara even annoyed me more. Now CSI fans, please don't rake me over the coals for that. : ) I liked Warrick and am sorry he is leaving the show. I think Laurence Fishburne could be a good add on. Especially since he isn't coming in as the other's boss, that will make it better I think. It might make me more interested in checking back in on the show.
