I really dont think so. You can voice your opinion and tell them your concerns if you think that they are making a wrong choice in friends.

Depends on their age. When they are older, they will pick whomever they please, without your consent.

Nope, our children have their own likes and dislikes. What we may like about a friend may be something they dislike.
