Hitting the ground. . .while running. . . .What?

I'm doing a scavenger hunt on Boomertowne.com, and that is the clue and I don't know what it means! And once you figure out the answer, you have to try and find it in a particular section of the site! And the site is huuuuge. What comes to mind when you read that? I thought a plane when it lands, my aunt thought a skateboard.. . . Hmmm. . .hitting the ground while running.

Haha, you spelled the site wrong when you mentioned to me. You said www.boomertown.com, (go there, you'll see what I mean! Lol.) The 'town' has an 'e' at the end of it.

Isn't there some saying that is "to hit the ground running" or something like that? Maybe its more of a euphorism.

It is the sound of children! They hit the ground running, meaning that they are constantly on the move! AS soon as they wake up, the are moving, running rather than walking, and being very active!

I couldn't think of anything so I asked the question to my four year old and he said feet mummy silly. I guess they have to hit the ground whilst running eh! My only other thought was a touch down. Ellie :D

It's an old saying (from before skydiving). It meant when you get out of bed in the morning hit the ground running (get a quick start on the day). "On wheels"....I'll say the obvious: rollerskates.

I love the site but I have tried the scavenger hunt one time and had absolutely no luck. I checked probably 25 different places for the clue and no luck. I have no idea what that one could be either. It is much too difficult in my opinion. I have never tried it again.

It IS hard! Well, I mean, it is for $1000, so they have to make it hard or else a lot of members will be $1000 richer. Lol. And heaven forbid they don't want that!
