what is wrong?

ok here is the thing i have had this laptop of about a year or something like that and its not the best but it gets what i need done....and its been an alright computer and i just don't know what the problem is, today the internet signal hasn't been that strong and my yahoo messenger has been disconnecting(because of the connection) and it takes a few more seconds to get to websites than it use to..and i have a linskys(don't think thats spelled right but i don't know how to spell it) and two other computers are running off of it as well..(its in the living room and i am in my bedroom)so i was just wondering what you think it might be...the blue ball is still down at the two computers on the right hand side and it doesn't ever leave...i have an everex computer and the other ones are compaq and dell...thanks for taking the time to read my discussion adn i hope that you all have a great night!
