How do you feel about fire drills at your office? / myLot

I think they are good and very important in case of an emergency but if you are in a high rise building going down 15 flights of stairs or more can be very tiring and if you have to go back up. whew! LOL How do you feel about the drills? We do all sorts of drills at my office and I am in charge of doing them.

Be prepared - It's always advisable to be ready for the unexpected fire..Are you prepared?

Since I work at home..i would hope there are no drills as that would mean it's real!!

You could always practice doing a drill at home if you live with family members or have kids.

I feel they should practice these drills, so if it would ever actually happen to be real everyone would know exactly what to do. I feel these drills do help to save lives and every company or building should practice them.

I agree wholeheartedly that these drills should be practiced but I am sure many companies do not or not as often or do a variety of drills. We practice fire drills, bomb threat drills, natural disaster drills, medical emergency drills, power outage drills and violence in the workplace drills at my job.
