No it does not hurts because I take precautions and do excercises regularly . BAck is as important a thing as your face .Once started back problems are toughest to handle and mostly for life term . So better to take a inititative now if your back pains after long sitting hours

I never saw thing discussion. My back often hurts while Im on the computer, the key is when you feel it starting to ach, get up immediatly and walk around alittle bit. Thats all it takes. The more you do this you will find your back not hurting as much.

My back hurts sometimes before I knew mylot exists, I sit all day to computers and mylot just replaced the time some other sites take, it didn't add to my overall online time.

Yes, it really hurts sitting a lot but when i start feeling it, i usually take a break and walk around for a few minutes. Bad posture doesnt help as well.

You are right, I am foolish. I should sit up and take a walk away for a while. Thanks for your reply.

No my back does not ache as have a nice comfy chair, but as for my neck, well that's another thing and it is that, that causes me to give it a rest!

I'm sorry about your neck pain. Guess you have to get up and stretch a bit, right? Feel good my friend.

Yes, my back hurts so bad by the end of the day. I always ask my husband to rub it for me before we go to bed. He just laughs and says I didn't do anything all day and don't deserve a back rub..he is joking of course.

Hahhaah, a man is a boy, you know that. Okay, it's a deal, but I want the back rub, I am so tired of sitting here. Hubby is giving me the look to get off, so I will say good night. I'm gonna attempt to answer a few more, and off to bed I go.

I think you should sleep on a firm mattress, and stretch a bit when on the puter. Don't waste your money on pills and creams.

no, I don't sit that long and do this, only for a short time while I am winding down from the day waiting for my son to go to sleep. But the second I feel my back start to get tight, I stop and get up and start picking up or doing something else.

You are smarter than me. I just keep pushing and pushing and my back kills from my stupidity.

I have arthritis and a herniated disc in my back. So, sitting at the computer does hurt my back. Every so often, I take a break for 5 minutes and then come back to the computer.
