was thinking today about different words that if sppelt backwards mean another word eg; Dog pelt backward is God and dags take the 's' and put it at the end is Gods Cats if you put the 's' in front spells scat which in our language means 'go away' but in another language means sh.t Santa is really a conundrum which spells Satan how many words can you think of or know of that either spelt backward or is a conundrum? please share...

I haven't really thought about that much, and I was an English major in school! I have found some words that are exactly the same forwards and backwards! "Level" is one of them. "Gag" is another one. Hmmm, "live" spelled backwards is "evil".

Yeah, Black Sabbath did an album called Live Evil, if I remember correctly they had the e on evil backwards to make it look like a reflection....

Black Sabbath"Live Evil" album - This is the album cover for the"Live Evil" album. If you look closely, you can see the"e" in"evil" is backwards.
Yep, DarkDancer, they sure did! Here's a picture of the album cover. If you look real close, you can see that the "e" in "evil" is backwards.

Ah, palindromes (Was it a rat I saw) and anagrams (parental, prenatal, paternal), you have to love the flexibility of language. There was a novel (written in the 70's I think) with a lady who was transexual who said that the name she picked (Mrs Madrigal) was anagrammatic. For years I tried (lightly, just in my head, not with a pen and paper or anything) to figure out what it was an anagram of, when not too long ago I was watching tv and someone said a word. I thought to myself, that is an anagram of madrigal, then I had it. It was Grimaldi by the way.... Of course now looking at it, they are not anagrams...darn. Unless she spells one of funny. Oh, I looked it up and Gramaldi is a valid spelling...

You are right about the flexibility of words...I absolutely love them the different meanings and how you could take one word look it up in the dictionary then it means another etc etc...but that is a great anagram..thanks for your response

Mr Mojo risin' is an angram of Jim Morrison And if you are a fan of the British comedy "Absolutely Fabulous" The lead characters' name, Eddie Monsoon is a derivative of Adrian Edmonson, Husband of the writer and star Jennifer Saunders. Another thing about this show, all five of the main actress names start with "J" Jennifer, Julia, Jane, June and Joanna.
