Are you actually out making a difference?

Or do you wish you were making more of a difference? I do a little of both. I don't have too much time or resources to make much of a difference, but I hope that one day as the kids get older that will change and I can do more to help make a difference. Our local habitat for humanity projects always seem to go on when I am pregnant. I fixed that problem, but now I have two young kids that I can't go off and do this for hours. I wish I could think of something to do that I can take the kids. Maybe we could go to nursing homes and visit those that love children and of course are safe to be around little ones. Or it could be something just me and my daughter could do since my son is pretty wily.... I will have to think on these things. I want to make a real difference and I have worked in a nursing home, most of them get forgotten by family until holidays. Its one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed......

Taking your little ones to visit in a nursing home is a great idea. Teach the kids to sing some songs to sing and entertain, or even to play a little portable xlyophone. It can be something very simple.

I think I make the difference everyday with my profession and by helping people at all times, I like to see someone like you who can and want to do something about others.
