That's always been my problem..well not in decision making regarding lovelife. But I couldn't say no to a person who is offering me something like for example that person sells a garment or anything like perfume or make up..I could say no but through sales talk...I will end up buying something for that person. That's why people at the office already knew that I couldn't resist their office and will eventually buy something from them.sigh. Another thing..tomorrow we are going to have our team building bec. we are at Top 5 out of 64teams from our account..so we really need to celebrate bec. from top 9 to top 5 that's a big leap..They wanted a place where they can sing and drink without spending so much money. Now an officemate of mine told my supervisor that my place is available for videoke and would you believe "free internet" access also.During that meeting I did not say a word and was shocked that how could an officemate of mine wants to celebrate in my apartment...Ending of the story..I declined the idea at first but oh my gosh...we are going to celebrate it tom at home. Sigh.

Hi pinks! Wow congrats to your team! You must be in a big account to have 64 teams. Most of the time, I just say no straight that I don't want to go to a place or I don't want to have something. There are a lot of times as well when I said yes when I actually meant no. I think about it first and if it doesn't affect me that much anyway and if I can, why not? Wow, you're gonna have your team building. Probably right now (Saturday night/sunday morning) you're having your team building. Just enjoy, have fun and celebrate your team's achievement. Take care. see 'ya around!

Yup we had fun.We don't like our Team Leader that much..well my team actually hates him.Our VOL account actually has a lot of agents from Lipa and Nova. And max. of 13 agents per team. We actually had other plans and our team lead was not included from our plans. It was all my TL's idea for celebrating the big leap from the stack ranking. He was excited to go to my apartment for videoke and internet access and play with my cats but since our TL has a schedule for therapy we decided to eat at Burger King and afterwards my team decided to still go to our place and drink.Too bad when they talked about going to our place after BK my TL was there. To make the long story short.I was bad bec.when he heard that they want to have few drinks at home I didn't asked him to follow or at least offer that we will wait for him so that he could go with us.I know majority want him out of the plan so I didn't asked him if he would want to join or follow us.Now it's ONE(my TL) against the majority(my team).sigh. The team had fun...so much fun at home.....bec. our Team Leader was not with us. Neil was not even home bec. he don't drink...he gave me the freedom to drink and I behaved of course.lol.

It's good that you and your teammates enjoyed and finally got to have a good drink at your place. Well, I've experienced that one before. The team against their sup. It really happens and it's not good to force something out. It could have gone bad if he was there but it could have been a chance to, you know, settle the differences. I've had the experience where almost everyone's against me. It was tough. Really tough. Sorry 'bout that. I suddenly remembered my previous team. Anyway, good job in going up the stack rank. Say congrats to the rest of your teammates. Hey, do you and neil have YMs? Juz pm me. Thanks and take care!

Hello pinks17! Congratulations for making it to the Top 5. That's really a good achievement considering having 64 teams. Anyway, with regards to your question... I don't find it difficult to say "NO" when I really mean no. Same is true in saying "YES" when I really mean yes. Being able to stand by your conviction is really very important.

Saying "no" is hard for me if someone is selling something..if friends wants to spend sometime at home bec. it's just me and my boyfriends whose at home. If a person is selling something..I could say no but eventually will buy something because if I see a pitiful look..I tend give in.But those are the two instances where I can't actually justify the yes as a no.But in lovelife and major decision making...even if I don't want to...I will not agree to something which I honestly don't like. Thanks for the post dolce_vita.;p

I know this maybe of come late since this thread was made a week ago. But i just want to share my points of view, if you dont mind me buttin in. As far as saying yes, when you meant no. I had the same problem. Like you, I cant hardly say no, when you know the recipient will probably get hurt, sad, or worse even mad. That's why most of the time, my real friends are the one who said No for me. As they know i will be taken advantage off again. Saying Yes doesn't always mean bad, even if you wanted to say no. If your desire to help, and see their smile makes you happy, it means something a lot for you even if it wasnt for them. But I make a habit of saying No sometimes, when given the circumstances. I cant say Yes, when i dont have anything to offer right? Moneywise, i usually give my mum if i have some money left, shes like my bank account, Or depost it in my own bank account, or pay my bills straight. So when your neighbours is asking you if they could borrow some money, i would have to say no, coz i dont have any. I would have let her borrow if have any money left. And I don't feel guilty. Anyways, Congratulations on your team. Im sure you had a lot of fun. :)
