Not big in England

I live in England and have noticed that Incubus arn't too big over here. Infact I do not think I have heard them on the radio in years! Why do you think this is? Are they big in the states? They do play some big venues over here so they must have some following, i just cant think why we never have them on the radio or on music channels!

In my social group they are very big, and in a few others but going to uni I did discover that very few other groups have even heard of them, more have heard of your GreenDays or you System of a Downs (the first not surprising me the latter very much so.) I am a big fan and even went to see them in the BIC (Bournemouth International Centre) last year which was an amazing experience and I would love to see them again, I hear they are playing/have played download this year but I know when I looked I knew I wouldnt be able to make it for some reason and I guess hitting a festival just for one band can be a costly way to go about things. I think with more recent touring they have to push their latest albums more and I feel Light Grenades isn't their best album in fact with only about 4 or 5 strong songs its probably one of their worst, but they played enough other songs from older albums for me to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend people going. As to why they are not so popular in England I really couldn't tell you. Maybe its something to do with the Chav culture here meaning everyone seems to be the same and love all the so called 'music' from r n b or hip hop and if a songs not got the word booty in it somewhere its not good enough!
