My question has basis I am a lawyer in Brasil as I moved to USA I had to do my studies again at least one year adaptation so I could do my BAR exam and in USA every state demands a new BAR after 5 years studies and BAR exam in Brazil I thought would be too much. Well I just finished Cosmetology degree and of course got my license in Florida. Was always my dream to be able to manipulate hair I just love it. How about you do you have completely different professions or studies?

Valeria, It's nice to hear that you are able pursue something that you like and thought about a lot. I studied to be an engineer and for a long time was in a profession which put all these skills to use. Things have changed over the last couple of years and am presently into doing something totally different.

Hi Val, good to hear that you've found a profession you love! Most of us usually end up with jobs or professions totally different from what we were trained for. I was in Computer and Information Technology; started my career in that field. Now I am a marketing professional in corporate training and consultancy, and had been so for more than 10 years. Whether I really enjoy my current profession, I'm not so sure! I somehow miss the crazy logic of computers!
