2008 Beijing Olympics: Did you watch the opening ceremony?

I am now residing here in China. I can't watch the opening at the stadium itself so I comfortable watch at home with my colleagues. It was an amazing one-hour presentation of China's rich culture. The synchronicity of the performers are great. No take two. The Chinese people has really prepared for this.
What about you? Did you watch the opening ceremony? What can you say? China has shown the world that if they, China also can! Go! Go!

good for you that even you have no time to watch at the stadium, but the feelings you have that you are currently in the place is really great. you can feel the excitement and the scene even in the city is wonderful as there are lots of different places out there now. i have no time to watch the opening in the cable but i saw it, just a short video from the news.

Yes i watched it.Will i was waiting for my husband to come home with his friend.I open the tv and guess what when i on the tv is was the olympic ceremony.So while waiting with my husband i watch it.It was a really good ceremony good job China.It was really amazing when the guy walking up it was really good show.

I live in the United States and the opening ceremonies will not be aired until 7 tonihgt. I will not be watchign them though as I find the olympics to be very boring I don't like watcing sports and I can't wait for the next two weeks to be over so my regular shows will be back on tv.

Hi leateagee,
I never saw it because I was too busy Mylotting and I just had a look in my tv mags for the time of the openning ceromony but it was not shown in this country, well I cant't see it in any tv listings.

yea i was watchin the fireworks & the first few mins..rest wasnt so gud...dint watch all the countries candidates marching
