My mom is a funny lady

Ok here is one of our families favorite quips mom has made. It is one we will never let her live down.
My brother was visiting mom here in Florida a few years ago and they all went to the beach. It was my brother, his wife at the time, and his two kids. Mom pointed to the sky and said "look kids it is penguins" ok mom since when have penguins lived in Florida and since when have they been flying over the beach? she meant pelicans but we won't ever let her forget it. She gets a new penguin each year lol.

Thanks for the cute story and laugh sweet! Your Mom sounds
adorable! I'll bet you never let her live that one down.
I'm still laughing now! Isn't that funny how the wrong
word just seems to come out of your mouth and can just
be hysterical. I'll bet the kids will always get a kick
out of that even when they get older. It's something that
no matter how many years go by you and your family will always
have to remember and laugh about. What a great family memory!
