My personal fav would have to be Surf Canyon, it recommends quite nicely. Other than that, I also like BlogRovr, FlashGot and NoScript.

i only have this NoScript and FlashBlock in my firefox. i still don't have the idea of surf canyon and blogrovr. i don't actually load or install a lot of add ons and other stuff in my computer because i am afraid to get caught with viruses and other bad wares in the internet.

Yes, and a very valid fear you've got. I don't know how firefox is going to react to this, but they already faced such a direct charge before concerning the ebay add-on and they worked on it to fix it in timely manner. Anyway, you have to be risky yourself to measure the risks. Oops. :P

scrapbook is a nice add-on. And I feel sorry now that I forgot greasemonkey to list then. :-P
