if the result of the compatibility test matches with mine then i will not have any second thought but to donate my other kidney to my family member. actually, i was confronted with one when my mom's kidneys are failing as a complication of her cancer. unluckily, she was not able to make her time for her emergency dialysis as an initial management. aside from that, we don't have similar blood type that is why i can't be a donor for her as well as it will further aggravate her condition. thanks for asking such topic! God bless!

If it is a member of my family then I would not even consider the consequences, if I was a match they would have it. Obviously there are risks to consider with major surgery, but when it is your family and they would die without it it is not something that really seems to matter I would just do it.
