Olympic Medal Count

I don't think it will. It sure didn't stop the Americans from blowing out the Chinese by 30 points int he opening basketball game, and there were a lot of cheers for the Americans in that game. There are plenty of American fans there, eveidenced by the huge amount of red, white, and blue in the stands. However, I think the home field advantage will get the Chinese second place, which would be one of their best finishes ever in an Olympics. USA, USA, USA!

I really think China will win the most medals and be in first place. It is important to both countries, regardless of what everyone says, it is a matter of national pride.

I think its more important to americans with baseball hotdogs into apple pie and all that. Being the founding country of the sport theres something like a stigma and or rep. to keep up? :)

I think whether who have the advantage is not important, what is important is have they try their best in the game.If they try their best I think they are very respectable.
