Tea and weight loss:Is it Fact or fiction?

Daily i drink tea but don't think it can reduce weight. recently my friend inform me some information about tea . "Tea can help with weight loss,especially green tea. Tea help to flush out the body of toxins also. Green tea is a natural supplement inside tea that is designed to clean and heal the body naturally. Everyone still has to diet and eat a proper diet, but tea goes a long way to help with weight loss." What is your view about the above information .... Is it fact or fiction ?
