My city is one awesome city. What about yours? What do you like about your city?

There's two aspects of Singapore that I especially enjoy- the greenery and the food. Greenery- everywhere you go, it is hard to find a place that is completely devoid of plants and the like. True, the greenery is not completely the work of mother nature for our government has taken great pains to plan the landscape and maintain it. However, it is still a wonderful sight and has earned us the name of 'the Garden City'. Food- due to the different races and religions in Singapore(we have four main ones: Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians), our food culture is jampacked with different cultural and traditional dishes. Fusion dishes are pretty interesting as well. This diversity (and quality!) is pretty hard to find anywhere else.

The things I like about this town is it's small so I know where everything is, most everyone knows your name and who you are and they love having parades and decorating. Things I don't like about this town is that it's small so your limited on what you can buy, ppl know who you are and every little thing about you and there are alot of rednecks here. The town where I was born, now that's a different story. I'd love to move back up there but I couldn't leave my family here to do it. I love the boardwalk by the river, the lakes, the smell of the water, the fact that about 80% of the town is related to me up there. Someday I'm moving back there and then my life will be complete. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I think Austin Texas is pretty good with the variety of things it offers. Everything from live "grung" rock to ballet. From giant guitars to the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. Walking trails; a beautiful park overlooking Lake Austin, Mt. Bonnell; a natural springs swimming hole, Barton Springs pool; and the last of the "highland lakes" on the Texas Colorado River, running from Lake Buchanan, to Lady Bird Lake. You can go to art museums, history museums, science museums, and even a children's museum! You can hear our symphony, go to live jazz, blues, hiphop or rock and roll venues. You can dine on fine French cuisine or chow down on some good ol' BBQ, and everything you can imagine between. We have all the mall department stores and we have really laid back funky vintage shops. In fact, the only thing is that you REALLY don't want to come in the summer, March is the best month for Austin, that's when the blue bonnets are out! Don't miss going to the Lady Bird Wildflower Center while your in town!

Good day.. Wow that's nice having a place to live like that. I'm going to singapore next month and I do like to see the beauty of that country.

I hometown is not such beautiful as your city.But I just like to stay at this kind of little town to live through all my life.It seem I have no ambition and potential at all.Just like the tranquil life of the little town.there is no cheat, no competition......

I hate my city is the capital of the state but is so little and noisy and everyone one hate each other i hate iiiiiit!!

[i]Hello sunshinelady, I don't think my city is that awesome but I like it because it's a small city. What I like about it is, it's cool and pleasant weather. The temperature is around 10-25 deg C all year round. I also like it's fine trees and the different parks the city have. Each parks has it's own flavor to offer. Beautiful flowers adorn the parks. It's a very colorful and lively city and I think that's what I like about it. Have a good day. [/i]
