State Fair

Today we went to the state fair and it is a lot of walking around. My feet were hurting. Plus it gets a little more complicated this year with a little one. I had to make sure I put lots of sun screen on him and then we had a stroller but towards the end he didn't want to sit in it anymore and wanted to be carried. Plus he needed a nap, but I think he was afraid he would miss something. We went to the petting zoo there. He really liked it. He liked the friendly goats. And there was this huge, huge cow that would open his mouth towards you if you were holding a cup because he got so use to there being food in it. But over all it was a fun time. The only thing I didn't get to see was the dairy sculpture, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Last year we didn't get to go since I was in the hospital having my little son and then when I got out of the hospital I was adjusting to having a baby and I didn't think a newborn needed to be out in that heat.
