Children have always rebelled against their parents. But I do think the media has a certain degree of fault here. In the past 20 years, with cable tv, so many more violent and crass shows have appeared on television. With the internet revolution, this has only increased. Kids like to be entertained, and seeing other kids on tv, in movies, or on the internet rebelling gives them a sense of power, that They can do that, too. Also, I think the parents have the most responsibility. It is their responsibility to guard the shows, movies, and internet sites their children watch, Not the media's. Without proper parenting, children have a tendency to learn their Do's and Don't's from the media.
