I have been noticeing an increase in children that are being kidnapped. Many are kidnapped by their one of their parents but there are many that are not. Why would anyone kidnap a child? Can you imagine the stess and fear that the child must feel? Have you noticed the increase as well?

I can imagine many reasons why someone would want to kidnap a child they aren't related to, but I'd rather not think about it! Of course there are the custody cases gone bad as well. I don't know what I'd do if it were my child - probably go into shock or a catatonic state. I don't think kids are being kidnapped more than they were before; I think it's a matter of it being publicized more. Think about it. These days, most of us have cable news channels and the internet, so we certainly have access to more information than we had even ten years ago. It's natural that we'd here more cases of kidnapping - there must be millions more we never find out about.

Well I think its pretty sick that people would kidnap there children not to mention if its a parent kidnaping there own children. Now that parent needs to be locked up for a long time and never be able to see that kid again. But people probally do it to get a ransom to get money from the kids parents thats my guess of why they kidnap.

it is really sad. When I watch my niece, my newphew or any other child. If they want to go outdoors. I will only let them play behind the fence. I get worried where I live at there are cars going by all day. That and I don't know all of my neighboors so it sort of scares me about someone tring to kidnap them.
