I'd buy a big chunk of land up in Michigan by the water and move all my family up there by me. I love Michigan and miss it terribly. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

What a great question! I think I would love to have a beach house! My uncle used to have a beautiful beach house uptop a cliff. He had a nice backyard with grass, which is important for me for my dog. Then he had a set of stairs that went down the side of the cliff that ended right on the beach. The beach was considered private too so you didn't have all the regular beach goers down there. If I had to pick my dream home this would have to be it. My uncle lived in Michigan though so I would want to transport the home and beach access to maybe Florida or South Carolina. I moved to Florida currently to get away from the snow! I wouldn't need a big house either. I think a 3 or 4 bedroom would do me just fine. I do not plan on having a very big family, maybe one or two kids, at the most. I wouldn't want a bunch of rooms and bathrooms to clean and I could never hire a maid. LOL And living in a mansion or castle would just be WAY too big! If you can't hear me calling from the other side of the house, it's too big! What about you? What would be YOUR dream home?

I have always wanted a farm house. Not that i want to raise animals just the house-lol. I want the big porch so i can have a glider swing like on the old andy griffith show. I would like to have a nice wide window sil so when i bake my pies they could cool on them,to have my grandchildren and my kids be able to have enough room to play football and i could have my whole family over and have enough room, when we all get together there's over 50 of us. Oh the american dream and then i woke up-lol.

The Type Of Home I Love - image of the type of home I love
It's funny how my tastes have changed over the years. When I was younger and dreamed of my dream home it had to be gigantic..at least 36 rooms..LOL. I still love to daydream about luxury homes and often watch this show called Dream Homes & Luxury Estates that's on very late at night..some are okay...LOL but most look like museums and very cold, not at all "lived" in. I also frequent the Unique Homes website.. I've always had a preference for tudor style homes but now am more into the glorified log cabin type home...the kind with those tall cathedral ceilings in the living room....I have a picture of one such home I like--would love to have a home like this with a LOT of land and trees.

If money were no object....how nice would that be? I would not want anything fancy, just comfortable. I would first buy a large amount of land and would let my children and their families each have part of it for a home also. My home would for sure have a large porch on it in front and in back. I would want my kitchen to be big and roomy. Big bedrooms, a nice big laundry room, a breakfast nook with big window and bench. I would like my house to be light blue outside. A lot of light colors inside, crisp and clean looking. I am just rambling on but I can sure visualize what I would love to have. I would want my home to be in a small town or in the country here in Texas. Nice big shade trees would be nice and also a deck and swimming pool out back. Ok, time for me to wake up now. hahaha
