ice cold coca-cola

I know you've noticed that an ice cold coke is easier, tastier than that of a coca-cola that is of room temperature. I just wonder why that is? I guess that is because of the chemical components of the beverages' reaction to lower temperatures. I dont know, I am no expert but it really keeps me wondering... So everytime I buy myself a coke on my way home, i immediately put the beverage on the freezer so as to accelerate the cooling process. I really like the taste... I mean the zest is still there although not that strong.. You know the feeling or the after taste, and the zest that somehow would like to come out of your nose.. eewwwww. ice cold coke. the best!!!!

I like it at any temperature, but the color of it means it will heat up easily in the sunlight. The cold factor is something psychological; not alchemical. The taste doesn't change; your tongue senses the taste of the soda in a different way, depending on the temperature. Some people, like myself, are not affected in the same way. On that note, I have enjoyed ketchup on my ice cream.

I'm a coke lover too and ya I love it when its cold. Everytime I buy coke I make sure I get the cold one from the fridge not those off shelf.

Cold coke is DEFINITELY tastier and yummier than warm coke. I prefer coke ice cold right from the frig. Some people will put coke in a class and add ice cubes, I don't like to do this because even if the coke is semi cold the ice still melts and waters down the coke. I think cold coke tastes better than warm coke because I have noticed when you drink coke at room temperature it is A LOT more fizzy. Once it's in your mouth the fizz just kind of takes over everything and keeps bubbling on your tongue so you almost miss the sweet taste of the drink. Have you noticed this? I also have become a big fan of coke zero recently. It tastes just as well cold and it doesn't have that weird after taste that some zero drinks have. Happy coke drinking!
