can you really trust your friend?

well to be honest you should be able to trust your friends but unfortunatley friends are not always trustworthy. sometimes not even family. the sad thing is that at least one time in your life a friend or a love one will break that trust, a few questions come to mind how major was this? and will you be able to forgive them? because everyone makes mistakes.sometime people are put into really complicated situations where sometimes they dont have a choice especially if it is life threating to there friend or loved one, however you are right trusting is the foundation of any friendship and do i belive that there are trustworthy friends sure i do. those friends are GOLDEN!!!!

it is not always possible. i am telling all these as I have got personal experience.once i thought a person my best friend. he cheated me big time later. I could not understand that he was taking advantage of my friendship in terms of asking for money, food etc.
