How has the high price of gas changed your life? What things have you done about it? How has it impacted your life? What have you done differently because of it? What has it done to your budget? What else has happened because of it? Please talk about it.

The only thing it's really changed with me is that my husband and I don't take as many road trips as we used to. We stay home more and watch more movies and do more around the house. It hasn't affected my grocery shopping or anything like that. We're not doing without anything really. I know the gas prices are hard on a lot of people and I sure don't like pumping over fifty dollars at a time in my gas tank, but choice do we have? I've noticed gas prices were going down some in my area..not as much as I'd like to see, but at least they are not increasing.

Yeah. I've noticed that gas has gone down about ten cents a gallon here. I'm glad that you aren't going without food and other necessities. Are you able to take public transportation at all in your area? It's the only way that I can afford to get out, since I can't afford a car or gas.

I live in a rural area here...no public transportation is available. We have one taxi..lol...and they just pick up people in town.

First, we could not take a vacation this year. Not even a short one during a three day weekend. Second it has caused us to start buying lower grade food and less of that even. We combine chores so we drive less.
