Where is the best place to advertise your business?

If it's an internet startup, I'd suggest TechCrunch (http://www.techcrunch.com/). It posts quite a bit about technology startups, and if your startup gains any kind of momentum, you might be able to garner multiple posts there. However, keep in mind that TechCrunch does get many, many startups who request posts, so it's likely they won't post about you unless your idea is extremely original or unless you've got someone (a VC?) vouching for you. You can also try to head to forum threads or blogs that say they're looking for the service you're providing. You can post and explain your site there in a non-intrusive way.
