Regret How I Treated My Mother....

I regret how I treated my mom when I was growing up. As I am now raising teens...I see why she did things she did. I also know how she felt when I disrespected her with my mouth and by not minding. I tell her everyday how sorry I am. I know these words can't make up for it but I truly am sorry. We are closer than ever. She is my best friend!

It just a normal sometimes I'm also like that but that was before. There are teenagers who did that also, but time will came they will realized that its not really good treating your parents/Mother like that. You have a chance to say sorry to your parents if you're like that. Honestly, my Mother and I was really closed we even joked around, I treat her my bestfriend also.

Wow thats great!! atleast you had accepted your mistakes and flaws when youre still young...its a good move actually apologizing and everything...i guess its what always my mom will tell me ..that i can feel what experienced what shes been through with us after we had a family of our own...and that is really true...and even now i always remind my children the same way as what my mom had told me when i was still young...

Being mouthy and a know-it-all is normal for a teenager. I'm sure your mom went through it with her mother too. No doubt she loves and forgives you and you shouldn't be too hard on yourself for something that you can't change. The important thing is that you learned from it and that you are close with her now.
